From Sofi's Desk - August 2021

Hi - Thanks for your support of Ma’am Shoes.  We’re a small independent business, built for women and by a woman (that would be me!).  Hi, I'm Sofi. 

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and after a decade in the footwear industry, I decided to design shoes that I actually wanted to wear.  Shoes that don’t take such a toll on the planet.  Shoes that last.  

I launched Ma’am almost a year ago, with the conviction that we were creating something special. Our shoes are produced at our factory in Downtown Los Angeles in small, considered batches.  Every pair of shoes we design is made with sustainable techniques, attention to detail and the finest materials available.  The result is gorgeous crafted shoes that are designed to be worn for seasons and years to come.  

Every-so-often, I plan to reach out with fun business updates, new styles, tidbits on design + fashion and brand inspiration.  Keep and eye out for more to come!
